Our Russky Adventure in Pictures

Do you find that once you've really managed to get over a somewhat unpleasant experience, as times goes on, your memories somehow magically metamorphose into nothing other than what can be described as a 'sentimental haze of happiness'. Photos really help to elevate whatever thorns of reality were sticking into your brain and recall only the sunniest of days. As I looked through our 2010 Summer of Hell photos I only recall those amazing times. And there were so many, regardless of steaming 40 plus temperatures and uncontrollable smog from
burning forests all around. Life in pictures seems happy. I shall prefer to remember it this way.

Mr Turtle ready for forest action.

Mr T visiting kittens who needed some close inspection

Of course the mum took off as we arrived, so Mr T put her on the right track back with the kids.
Mr Turtle checking in with some turtles.
Probably my fav pic. Its just so animated. 'On the lookout, in the dark dark wood'
Yes. Its just a photo of hair. But I love it for some reason.

Sasha's flowers.

A rare Moscow visit. We, of course, were looking very Brit style. Immaculate top, ready- to- throw in the bin shoes. Oh yes!
Kolya's Milky Way
We had our first serious casualty this summer, which resulted in three stitches. K was much braver than his mum who was close to a nervous breakdown. All went swell in the end.
A family day out! It was the best day we had all together.
