I can just about manage heels on the escalator but a buggy with a baby on the escalator throws me into a turmoil of horror flashes which I simply cannot overcome. The mental block has grown roots thus leaving me with only 2 cheap options of public transport: bus and overground. (and the occasional tram/ boat on restricted routes)
Turns out, this is a far more exciting, and in the case of overground trains fast way to explore/get around London with a buggy. Check journey planner for routes and times. If you are anything like me, be sure to indicate that you do not want to use the underground.
Yet to those who have mastered the art of descending, my complete respect, ladies and dads!
