We have had an incredible three weeks with the boys, visiting dad and family in California.
Here's what little Alyosha and big brother Kolya have learned to do.
Alyosha:
Can now crawl across the room. Still unsteadily, but gets there in no time.
Calls me mama. Kolya thoroughly enjoys this.
First words: дай, дай, отдай, мама.
Learned to eat solids properly. Daily Californian diet included: avocados, blueberries, white fish, bananas, broccoli, carrots, steamed apples and pears, cheddar cheese, porridge, greek yogurt, chicken, tomatoes. Sometimes rasberries, strawberries, pancakes and сырники, lightly fried courgettes.
Has a weak spot for any kind of plastic bag which makes a noise. Shakes in excitement at the sight of it. Oh dear.
Kolya learned to swim under water! He can also manage about 2 meters, mostly swimming under water. Amazing! Deda taught him the basics in about two days at the lovely Ohai, where we were staying.
Russian language has dramatically improved.
Kolya could hike for upto 1.5 hours walking by himself. Again, great achievement.
Really getting into playing with cars.
Learning to write his name. Loves to count and pretend read everything.
He loved the ocean. (океана)

Loves to hang out and help out with Alyosha. Loves to climb into his cot and hold him up.
Kolya chose a pink ribbon from my sister's bathroom and wore it as a tie.
Loves to sing:
