today, Kolya turned on the washing machine by himself. He met me in the kitchen with the words: I'm washing. (мама, я стираю) After a closer listen to the noises in the house I realized to my horror that it was in fact the washing machine which he skillfully managed to turn on himself. He was very please with himself. He was not one bit alarmed. :) quite sweet really. but slightly scary. 
да, мама, я сам стираю. :) ох.
