New Forest

Late February we decided to take our chances with the weather and brave out a weekend in Brockenhurst, New Forest on a bike ride adventure. We were almost blessed, for the first day was dry as we escaped the rain and hail in a warm and cosy pub somewhere in the midst of a tiny village called Bank. Our second day was a full blown rainfall adventure with wet tires and tired legs. A sleeping little boy in the peculiar little wagon which, as we later found out, was not so waterproof. (thank god for the full on rain gear Kolya had on him!)))
Still, it was wonderful!
Fresh and away from the smoky, grey London scene.
Deer jumping across the paths, lazy ponies grazing everywhere, somehow very much resembling no other but cows- slow and careless. The vastness of the sky and these most strange marsh lands everywhere. The smell of the woods which reminded me of Russia and a ride on a bike. Can't beat that really.

Yes, there was a ford full of water and Sasha took us one by one across the ford (well, he took me and kolya on his back first and then the bikes one by one) Amazing.
