Locks and wonders

Kolya had his first Big boy haircut yesterday. All the baby locks came off! He looks terribly handsome now. And to our sheer surprise he was very patient with Tez, the hairdresser, who in turn performed the most fast paced job I had ever seen a man do. Swiftly moving from front to back and around the stool as if he was on skates. Snip Snap. Job done. Thank you!

Apart from the haircut we managed to swing by Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park Corner yesterday. Lots of joy from the pre-Christmas atmosphere, although we were very much missing the snow.
Kolya went on every carousel on the menu: riding a pimp car, a double decker bus, another double decker bus and flying a plane. He also spent some good 20 minutes jumping inside a giant Snowman (it was freezing but Kolya of course didnt mind at all). We drank the most yummy orange infused hot chocolate and had some not so impressively good Gluehwein from one of the stalls. Bought white bear looking slippers and German socks, ate more Hungarian super salty food (non the less v good) and finally went on the big sightseeing wheel where I encountered a most unexpected, breath stopping case of Virtigo. Kolya again LOVED it! (We went round 4 times and by the 3rd I thought my heart would stop) What a weakling! Apart from that: very recommended!
